Stephen Cleobury conducts the Choir of King�s College, Cambridge, in a service of Seven Readings and Carols as recorded recently in DTS Surround Sound and PCM stereo. Also included is a rare, 45-minute film of much of the 1954 Service of Nine Lessons and Carols directed by Boris Ord, and a 20-minute conversation among Sir David Willcocks, Sir Philip Ledger, and Stephen Cleobury who have succeeded one another as directors of music at King�s since 1957, with Willcocks� association extending to 1938. An illustrated booklet contains carol texts, historical notes, and biographies. This program is available on DVD only.
